We still need everyone's support to help Edi win the tough fight he has to fight! Unfortunately, stress and worry don't leave us and make us wonder what we'll do if we can't raise all the money..

Edy's story

We usually say, 'Let's make sure that the sick are morehelp humanly, and in what they cannot be helped humanly, God will help them.' But we must not forget that in order for people suffering from a serious illness to be helped humanely, they go through great suffering, through a real martyrdom. He has to do a lot of consultations, surgeries, transfusions, chemotherapies, radiotherapies. Transfusion stings, Iv stings... To have his veins pierced, to put food in his nose, so he couldn't sleep... And all this to make what is human. Do you get it? It's not as simple as, for example, a wound that has collected pus and must be broken to get the pus out, and then it heals. But here all this is a whole procedure. That is why we must not sit still and say, 'It is all right, this sick man has come into the hands of good doctors,' but to bear in mind that, in order to be medically helped, the patient must go through a whole suffering, and we must pray with pain for him, in order to give Christ patience said St. Paisie Aghiorit in his many conversations with the people.

How do we relate to the suffering of the one next to us? How are we going to report at the moment when we sit quietly on social media and the story of little Eduard Ilie Loghin appears on our timeline? But maybe some of us will judge without knowing what the Loghin family is going through.

How simple is it to get rid of the sick, taking him to a hospital and leaving him in the hands of the doctors... But we should realize that the hospital is even harder for him, because he lacks the love of the family. There it is treated as an object, as a product manufactured on a conveyor belt. If we treat him with indifference, the doctors' help may be ineffective.

Loghin Eduard Ilie or Edy as parents Ilie and Ana like to tell the little one was born on a warm day of May 27.05.2014. The life of the little one and the family went smoothly until the age of 3 when a swelling appeared around his right ears that looked like a mumps a disease specific to most children. He went with him to the emergency room in Botoşani and after the consultation he was sent urgently to St. Mary's Hospital in Iasi and there following investigations he was given the cruel diagnosis: Your child has CANCER. (Rabdimioriosarcoma alveolar oropharynx region). That's when the sky fell on the family. No one expected little Edy to go through something like this. He then attended countless chemotherapy stints in just 1 year and 7 months at 16 chemotherapy stints. But the family did not give up and went on to seek a second medical opinion and to the well-known doctor Ceyhun Bozkurt of Medical Park in Turkey. He is expected at the clinic by the doctor but unfortunately the family does not have the money to save his little one. Edy wants to live!
