Maria is finally breathing a little easier. The treatment takes effect, and the doctors tell us that it responds well. We are now in a short break between cures, after an intense month of immunotherapy – a month in which every day was a prayer, a wait, a hope.

Immunotherapy did him good. He had an appetite, he had energy, and the analyzes finally showed figures that gave us courage. But the beginning of each cure is difficult... The price that Maria pays to be able to fight for another day is 3-4 days of fever, nausea, vomiting and terrible headaches.

Yesterday he was treated with another drug from this cure, and after administration he did not feel very well. She is nauseous, vomited and is sick, she can't eat.

Today we are at home, and tomorrow we go to the hospital again. Her immunity is low because she has very low neutrophils due to treatment.

But with strength and faith in God, we move forward – whether they are good days or not.

It's been 5 weeks since little Maria started her second chemotherapy course. There are weeks of struggle, pain, but also of courage. And Mary – this angel of only 5 years old – faces a power that leaves us speechless.

Every day in the hospital is a struggle. Every drop of treatment is a hope. And every moment in which Maria smiles, despite the pain, is a life lesson for all of us.
