Happy New Year!

In the magical month of December, two rays of hope shone brightly on the sky of Miruna Craiu and Andreea Musat's lives, bringing with them the news of healing. Both brave and resilient were diagnosed with severe scoliosis, but they passed through the heavy gates of surgery with an iron will and admirable courage. The success of the surgeries was not only a medical victory, but also a demonstration of their inner strength and hope that never dies.

In the warm light of the holidays, there was a moment of deep recognition and appreciation during the 2023 Man of the Year Gala. Vlad Placinta, president of Save a Heart Association, was named Man of the Year 2023, in an emotional event broadcast by Romanian Television. His election, the result of votes from the general public and the deliberations of a professional jury, is not only a recognition of his tireless work, but also a tribute to all those who fight unseen to bring hope and healing into the lives of those in need.

This designation came as a crown of his relentless efforts and passion with which Vlad Placintă dedicated his life and resources to help those in need. It's a story about humanity, about dedication, and how the collective involvement of devoted people can make a huge difference in the world.

In a world often marked by carelessness, such success stories and recognition renew faith in goodness and the power of unity. They remind us that no matter what challenges we face, there is always hope, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and that together we can overcome any obstacle.

We are grateful for your care. The nobility of your soul gives us energy and inspires other good deeds. In December, 2,900,893 RON and 30865 EUR were raised from SMS donations, company sponsorships and on the platform. 165 companies contributed with the amount of 1,514,476 RON, representing 185 signed contracts.

56 children and adults with serious illnesses and precarious social situations benefited from financial support for operations and treatment. The amounts range from 200 RON to 137,407 RON.

The total amount we donated in December 2023 to cases is 978176 RON.

20 orphaned children are ours and we offer them monthly financial support for the necessities of daily living. The amounts allocated are between 1,500 RON-5,000 RON/month.

Good deeds grow from month to month because every day we are joined by people like you who know that every day we must do everything we can so that someone's life and health no longer depends on money.

In December we opened 6 fundraising campaigns: Szilard Pintican, Elena Matache, Herta Maria, Laura Mihailov, Giulia Gînja and Elisa Sirghi.

We run several campaigns in parallel, because you know, there are so many people who need help.

Marketing: We invested 3.73% of the total amount collected in email marketing, Facebook ADS, Google ADS, Linkedin ADS, Telemarketing (4000 calls), Sent envelopes (10,000), email marketing and press releases, to increase the visibility of humanitarian cases and implicitly increase donations.

For salaries and administrative expenses, payment processor fees, media monitoring and social media and web development we allocated 2.17% of the collected amount.

I want to tell you a few more details about the good you do.

There were 4688 online donations on the platform and our beautiful community was joined by 764 friends who donated for the first time.
