Catherine Dima is fine. He asked us to tell you that progress is starting to appear, just two months after he started treatments at the Avaria Clinic in Germany.
I love the hospital. It's very colorful, and the nurses are nice to me. They told me I was brave and that if I kept it up, I would get out of here quickly.
Catherine is extraordinarily lucky to have people like you on her side. When you know that there are still 10/100/1,000 people fighting to get better, you gain extraordinary courage. Catherine is also brave because you have shown her so much care, so she trusts that she will be fine.
We have some more news for you: Mircea Cotoman, Cătălin Boicu, Ecaterina Giagu, Caesar Stan, Sebastian Aiftodoaie, Ion Marin and Marcus Cebotari continue the fight against cancer, and Stefan Bulgaru started chemotherapy sessions which, unfortunately, are very tough.
We are grateful for your care! Your generosity inspires us but, above all, attracts other good deeds. In February, RON 975,371 and EUR 45,096 were raised from SMS donations, company sponsorships and the online platform. The companies contributed with RON 67,192, representing 34 contracts signed with amounts between RON 50 and RON 15,000.
65 children and adults with serious illnesses and precarious social situations benefited from financial support for operations and treatment. The amounts range from RON 70 to RON 75,000. I repeat, 65 mothers, children, fathers, sisters and brothers were given a new chance!
The total amount we donated last month to cases and partner associations is 919,871 RON. Through the "Save a heart" Association, 20 orphaned children benefit from monthly financial support for the necessities of daily living. The amounts allocated are between 1,500 and 5,000 RON.
This wave of well-being grows every month because people like you understand that we have to fight every day and do everything we can so that someone's life never again depends on money!
In February we opened 3 campaigns for Sofia Fitzinger, Daria Gruia and Marian Balac. In parallel, we run other campaigns because there are so many people who need help.
2.56% of the total amount collected from donations was invested in email marketing, Facebook ADS, Google ADS, Google Display and in the 4 press releases displayed in 89 national press institutions. Thus, we have increased the visibility of humanitarian cases and implicitly increased donations.
For salaries and administrative expenses, payment processor fees and web development we allocated 5 percent.
I want to tell you a few more details about the good you do. The www.salveazaoinima.ro platform registered 5,312 online donations, and our beautiful community was joined by almost 500 friends who donated for the first time.
