Slowly, slowly, with God's help, we are also getting through this critical period.

When she woke up in intensive care and we, the parents, were able to see her, her reaction was very hard... She was extremely scared, crying and shaking constantly. I spent the whole night next to her, at the ICU. She kept asking us for water and whining, and we just tried to be close to her and calm her down.

Yesterday morning, at 9 a.m., she was brought to the salon. Since then, I have not left her alone for a moment. We watch her all the time, because she tries to pull out her wires and catheters, scared of everything that happens to her.

Today, at noon, the doctor came and told us that everything is absolutely normal and that her evolution is very good. She changed her dressing, and then a team of physiotherapists from Recover helped her get up... and took a few steps.

Small steps, but huge steps for us. Steps to healing. Steps to life.

The "Save a Heart" Association paid today the amount of 120000 RON, according to the attached payment order – a clear proof that each person who chose to be by our side turns hope into reality. ❤️
