Anna was successfully operated on, and today she is out of any danger, and this would not have been possible without your support, good thoughts and prayers. The tears of joy do not stop flowing... and we can find no other words than this: Glory to God for every MAN who was sent to save the heart of little Ana Maria.

In a world where hope sometimes seems hard to find, you have proven that love, kindness and solidarity have no bounds. The campaign started on 17.06.2025 for Ana Maria Șolomonea, a 13-year-old girl, diagnosed with ASD (atrial septal defect), turned into a real miracle. In less than 24 hours, the amount needed for the life-saving intervention – 8800 euros – was not only reached, but even exceeded, reaching 11,497 euros.

This amount is more than just numbers. It means a repaired heart, a saved child, quiet nights for parents and a future given back to a life at the beginning of the road. The intervention will take place in Romania, at Monza Ares Hospital, and thanks to your generosity, Ana Maria will benefit not only from the surgery, but also from the subsequent consultations so important for complete healing.

You, those who donated, distributed, hoped and prayed, were the answer of a mother who no longer knew where to turn and how to save her child. You were the angels sent in time.

Ana Maria now has a real chance at a normal childhood, at play, at dreams, at a heart that will beat strong and healthy.

A strong heart for a beautiful dream

I'm Ana Maria Șolomonea, I'm 13 years old and I've just finished the seventh grade at the Gymnasium School in Vulcana Pandele, Dâmbovița County. My dream is simple but powerful: to be good with myself and become a renowned pharmacist, known not only for my knowledge, but also for the way I can help others.

Until recently, sport filled my days. It was my source of energy, my motivation, what kept me in balance. Thanks to sports and attention to my body, I came to discover that something is wrong...

On April 30, 2025, following investigations at the MG Medical Management clinic in Bucharest, doctors noticed changes in the heart following an EKG. Other tests followed, and on May 24 I received a harsh diagnosis: broad OS-type ASD (a heart malformation), partial aberrant pulmonary drainage (under observation) and mild aortic regurgitation. On June 2, at the Monza Ares hospital, the diagnosis was confirmed.

Behind these medical words, there are the symptoms that scared me: loss of consciousness, in the chest, excessive fatigue... things that a girl my age should not feel.

The doctors decided that I had to be operated on July 9, 2025, at Monza Hospital in Bucharest. The intervention is minimally invasive and involves closing the defect with a device called an "umbrella", which will correct the malformation.

The cost of this intervention is 8,800 euros – a huge amount for my family. There are four of us: me, my mother, my father and my sister. My father is diagnosed with pulmonary sarcoidosis and has been on sick leave for eight months. My mother tries to cover all the expenses, but our income is modest, we come from a small village and we cannot afford this saving operation.

I'm not afraid of surgery. I'm afraid that we won't be able to raise the money on time.

I need you. To you, those who can and want to give me a chance at a normal life, at a future where I can learn, breathe peace and, one day, become the pharmacist I was telling you about at the beginning.
