All of you who supported the case of Andrei Anton are waiting for an answer. It remained in September to form again a medical committee to reassess Andrei's case. Of the initial amount of € 33,518 paid to the hospital with your help, I ordered an electric chair for Andrei and a table that will help him be able to move from bed to wheelchair and vice versa. This is how we also help his mother not to have to take him in her arms all the time, as she currently does.

The conclusion of the surgeon, in which I had all the hope, is that Andrei cannot be operated on 
. In the 3 years, since he has been in a wheelchair, he has lost the muscles and the operation would only leave him a vegetable, the little muscles and strength that are left to him risking being lost.
Duchenne dystrophy is a degenerative neuromuscular disease in which, once the muscles are lost, it can no longer be recovered. The affection is advancing too fast, unfortunately, and Andrei is condemned by it. The diagnosis was found late after countless attempts by the parents, since the diagnosis the child did not receive any kind of treatment, and carelessness condemned the life of this boy.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your support and help, for everyone's involvement in Andrei's case. That's all we could do, the rest remains in God's hands!

Andrei's story
The summer started and with it the boys beat the ball every day past the blocks. It's big bustle, they make teams, they encourage each other and they rejoice when they score goals as if they have saved the world! They are full of life, of energy, and their movement makes you remember the times when you were playing the same way. By the age of 7, so was Andrei Anton - a little boy ready to run, play and fly with friends. After that, however, his life changed radically.
His feet stopped playing football. Now he's just looking at his brother David running, says the boy's mother, Andreea Anton.
Andrei was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a genetic condition that causes loss of muscle mass and associated strength. Such a reality is a tragedy in the life of any child -- it's not just a disease, it's a limitation in everything that's most beautiful at such an age, it's an ordeal, too much pressure for a human cub.
The parents struggled to do everything to help their son. They forwarded the medical file to the "San Juan de Deu" Hospital in Barcelona, and the case was accepted by the specialists there, of course in exchange for a sum not at all easy to collect - 33,000 euros. The boy is expected for investigations, surgery and recovery, but his family has to get the money. The question is how, if Andreea is a housewife, Gabriel is a driver, the common income is 5,600 lei, of which they pay 1,250 lei rent, and two children have to raise?
It's easy to understand that they're in an impossible situation and need our help. Any donation made to the accounts of the "Save a Heart" Association can mean a better future for Andrei, a slowdown in the progression of the terrible disease, a respite to be able to enjoy life before dystrophy limits him even more strongly than it already does. Even if in his case money cannot heal, they can certainly provide the treatment that can relieve his burden.

Imagine for a moment what it would have been like for someone to tell you one day that you will never play with your friends again, that you will not be able to walk again and that you are going to spend the rest of your life limited from a locomotor point of view.
