His condition is the same, he's had a fever episode again but not so great, and the infection has dropped from 124 to 103 but it's still big! Unfortunately I have very bad news, today we had the first results and Andrei is much worse than was known until now... Extremely concerned the doctor in intensive care communicated today to Andrei's parents that the poor chicken has damaged his liver, kidneys, lungs and heart. Since last night they started with blood transfusions, treatment for his heart that has no beatings in the parameters,and more. It's going to be a very long hospitalization, in this condition you can't surgically intervene. Andrei will stay in intensive care a lot, the doctor says they will fight for Andrei to get to do this intervention that would save his life and remove all this terrible suffering. Let's unite and help Andrei's parents to carry the fight to the end, surely Andrei will win!!! On this flight Andrei was on the brink of brain haemorrhage, that's what the doctor told us today, but our hero also overcame that risk. God help!

On Wednesday 13 January Andrei and his parents flew to Italy. Andrei will be taken to the airport by an ambulance where he will be joined by Dr. Ioana Oprescu, who for 9 months is making huge efforts to keep him alive. Andrei will be kept in infusions until the time of boarding, and in Italy will be waited at the airport by an ambulance of the clinic where Andrei will remain in the coming months. He'll go straight into intensive care, into a sterile room, and there'll only be the medical staff, only mommy will be able to get into him for an hour a day. We must all know that his condition is not serious, it is critical, confirmed by the doctor from Grigore Alexandrescu. Andrei will remain in intensive care for as long as necessary, the body must be cleansed of all that is infection and must increase until it has the optimal weight of the surgery. It's about bowel elongation, an extremely difficult intervention but the doctors are optimistic, and so am I. Let us pray that the good Lord will help them arrive safely and get better as soon as possible!
The New Year has come with major new challenges for a baby in Bucharest. Andrei Curceanu was born with serious health problems, and his life hangs by a thread. The 9-month-old boy suffers from congenital jejunal atresia, a serious malformation that torments him beyond measure and does not allow him to develop normally. In addition, the disease is associated with scrutiny bowel syndrome, malnutrition and severe anemia! Doctors at the "Grigore Alexandrescu" Hospital operated on him from the first day of life, but the evolution was not what was expected. Following the three surgeries she had undergone so far, Romanian doctors requested a transfer to a specialist clinic outside the country, where Andrei could be successfully operated on. La Policlinica Vittorio Emanuele from Italy, Dr Vincenzo Di Benedetto claims that he can give the little one the chance of a normal life, but for this parents must raise a colossal amount for their possibilities: 30,000€ (necessary rent, transport and need for treatment and medical interventions) They have no choice, they must get this money as soon as possible, since the transplant or intestinal elongation operation is not practiced in Romania, and every passing moment could be the last spent with the child. Together we can overcome the financial obstacle and free Andrei Curceanu from the daily torments to which the terrible disease is subjected. Those who want to give him a normal childhood and a beautiful future.
