Tavi had her last chemotherapy session on Thursday.❗❗❗

We hope he will truly be the last of his life and never have to go through all the torment he has had to endure.🙏

At the end of the month, he is due to have an MRI to find out if the damage has been removed. 🍀

You have been and are a huge support all this way that we are going through. Thank you so much!🤗

Dear friends, we have good news!

❤TAVI TERMINATED WITH GOOD RADIOTERAPIA!❤🎉

The boys were discharged after 15 days of hospitalization.

It was probably the last hard stage of this unwanted journey.

We hope that the treatment will end in July and we will return home healthy.

Thank you for all the beautiful thoughts! 🤗

Dear friends, the operation went well.

It lasted 3 hours and both the surgeon and the aesthetician seemed satisfied with the outcome of the intervention.

The removed tissue was taken to the lab to check that the edges were clean without cancer cells.

The result will soon be.

Because his condition is stable, he didn't have to stay in intensive care as we were originally told.

Now he's in the living room with Daddy and the superheroes he gets as a gift from the medical staff.

Thank you for all the good thoughts! Health to all!

This week's chemotherapy session began with a day earlier on Tuesday, 5.01, the day the little girl decided to come into the world. 🎀

After the two days of treatment, the unnecessary malaise made their presence felt, but our strong little boy faced them very well. He ate... basically biscuits and bananas, and slept a lot.

His condition became stable, and doctors decided to discharge him on Thursday, the day we, the girls, were discharged.

🤩I can only call this reunion a MAGIC moment.🧚‍♀️

His reaction to the sight of the long-awaited sister was a violation.

His eyes twinkled with happiness that he saw "my baby". He approached her shyly and comforted her with care.

❤We've melted with love and love.❤

Thank you for the good thoughts you have given us and we also wish you health and love! 🙏

Happy new year with many achievements!

As I was telling you, this week the boys checked in.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Tavi had chemotherapy.

Both days he felt sick.

He's had vomiting and other pains that he doesn't know exactly how to tell us about. We assume he had dizziness, headaches and tummy.

He was listless and had a state of drowsiness. Sleep helped him recover a little and ate a little.

His body is very swollen because of the treatment given.

Daddy's doing anything to make him better.

Talking to our little boy through the video call, I spotted a little smile. He told me he wanted to go home...

Dearly beloved, I told you that Tavi would do two days of chemo in a session.

Wednesdays and Thursdays. Yesterday wasn't exactly an easy day, he felt really bad. He had drowsiness, vomiting, lack of appetite and others that made him cry most of the day. Let's hope that was all the bad in this session! 🙏

Things got better overnight. He managed to sleep well and is now showing signs of good moods. He ate and played. 😊

Thank you so much for your support!

Dear people, today will be another day full of events and emotions for us!

📌Following the catheter surgery, it was discovered that several blood clots had formed in the area where he had the old one. For them to disappear, an injection will be made daily.

📌At 10 a.m. local time, he'll have an MRI.

📌 After THE MRI will start chemotherapy again❗❗❗

As high doses, it will be given to him for two days in a row, On Wednesdays and Thursdays.

We were told it would be monentan every three weeks.

Tavi needs you! Don't stop joining him in this unforeseen fight!

Please continue to invite friends into the group and share the group!

Also, the distribution of the link below matters a lot to him.

Thank you so much for always having Tavi in your thoughts and prayers!

Our little boy came out of the operating room. The intervention lasted 1h30min. Now he's in a state of malaise, still under anesthesia, an effect that will pass in about two hours.

Good evening. Tavi is currently in surgery under total anesthesia for catheter change. The one he had was no longer functional.

Thank you for joining us and please continue to support Tavi in this fight.

Emsey Hospital came to our aid and took care of Octavian for whom we are grateful and thank everyone in Turkey!

Tavi's condition has been stable lately and that's given us courage... the courage to move to a clinic in ITALY that we wanted to come to from the beginning.

Everything was possible because we have here The Worlds, a man with an extraordinary soul who, upon learning the ugly news, devoted a lot of time to preparing for our arrival starting from the connection with the hospital, accommodation and much more. Of course we took all precautions before we traveled and followed all the steps the doctor gave us.

We arrived here a few days ago, but given the situation of the covid, we had to stay in quarantine outside the hospital. So this week she didn't have chemotherapy.

Today, Tavi and Cristi took the Covid test and from Monday they will be called to the hospital.

The rules have become a little stricter and for this reason only one of the parents is allowed to intern with the little boy. Tough choice! Because the pregnancy is advanced it is recommended that Daddy stay with him.

From last week until now, there's been a lot going on around here, "over here." Initially, the blood tests were not very good, which is why a transfusion was needed. It seems that the donor likes chocolate 🤭 because shortly after receiving the new dose of blood, the fun began. Tavi gained energy and was in a very good mood. Two days later, the doctor decided that there was no need to stay tied to the infusion, so our little boy was released. From Tuesday he's been hopping continuously and doesn't forgive any meals. It's a delight to see him eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

Today is Thursday, and as we've been accustomed to for six weeks, she's had a chemo session. We are very nervous because side effects begin to occur a few hours after administration. He received a milder cytostatic and we hope to get rid of the nasty moods this time. We'll be back soon with news.

🤗We embrace you, dear friends!

The days pass, and we are closed between the same four walls.

It's been a month since we've been here. Tavi reached her fifth chemotherapy session. Since yesterday, since he was born, he's been feeling really bad. The fever oscillates, it's reached 40.2 and below 38 it doesn't drop. Of course he gets everything he needs to stabilize his condition, but our little guy still feels sick. There's no point in mentioning the appetite for food. He's lost 800g, which is a lot for his weight.

You, relatives, friends and wonderful people we don't know, are so far away and yet so close to our soul.

We always knew there was a lot of kindness around, and you showed us tenfold that we weren't wrong!

We love you and are deeply grateful to you for doing everything in your power to keep our little boy healthy! 🙏

I was telling you last time that Tavi ran all day and ate well.

Since Saturday morning things have changed, and he has started to feel sick. He was listless, he had a fever, he had no appetite and all day he said, ❗ "AU."

It's a clear sign that the poison is doing its job, and with that, the unwanted side effects occur... limps.

We also reworked immunohistochemical examination at Emsey Hospital, and the results confirmed the second diagnosis received in Romania, the first being erroneous. Tavi has alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.

After his feverish moods on Friday and Saturday, his condition is better. He's snappy and eats well.

The doctor assured us that the blood cells had recovered after the second chemotherapy session and that today he could administer the third session without any problems.

Thank you so much for your support and please continue to join us in order to be able to raise the amount needed for the first phase of treatment. ♥️

Sharing with you what's going on around here helps us to unburden our soul, even if every word bedding means at least one tear.
Having been hospitalized for some time, Tavi began to discover new activities. He recently learned that there is a hallway on whose walls are drawn characters from stories. That in the same hallway there are other children who resemble each other: weak, pale and hairless.
He takes his toys daily to the lounge's wide ledge and spends hours there looking at the neighbouring block, where there is a family with two young children playing freely on the balcony.
Today he saw some children running in the hospital parking lot. He glued his face to the window and stood still for three minutes looking at them with a burning desire to enter their game. But I don't... he had to go back to bed to be given treatment.
He's so small and yet he understands so many things!

Although everything that happens is pressing, the important thing is that we're together. Daddy's our energy source and he's helping us deal with the situation. We without him would have been destroyed, and so would he, at home, without us. You can see that the People at Emsey Hospital really care about people and that's why they allowed us all three to stay.

On Thursday, Tavi had her second chemotherapy session. Soon after, he was molested, slept a little, then recovered. Yesterday, however, he started to feel sick. He got a really bad cough and a fever, he had chills. All night, his temperature oscillated. He was given an infusion and given many antibiotics. He's had blood samples taken. The results of the tests are not very good, which is why he is currently dealing with blood transfusions.

This isn't about Constanta or handball, things that unite me and you, the ones who follow me. Not even about sports. It's just about saving the life of a child who is struggling terribly, so I hope with all my heart that this post reaches as many people in Romania as possible who can help. ❤

His name is Octavian Bornaz, he's only 1 year and 9 months old and he's the child of constant runner Cristi Bornaz. In order to live, this innocent soul needs our help. He's suffering from a form of soft tissue cancer, and the fight is a counter-clockwise one. It takes 60,000 euros, and half of the amount has already been raised thanks to the Save a Heart. 👏

I chose to auction off the most important jersey from the Romanian national team, the one I played at the 2009 World Cup. Because there's no time to waste, I'm only going to leave the auction active for two days. It is only bid by comments on the post and is left from any amount you want.

On Friday, October 9, at 21:00, I will designate the winner and send him the shirt when he proves that he has made the payment to one of the accounts associated with this cause. ❤

In conclusion, I leave you here a few words of Cristi Bornaz, father of little Octavian:

"It's cruel to see our child like this, but we try to be strong for him, even if the world collapses and we don't understand why it takes such a small man to go through such an ordeal." #SalveazaOInima

Thank you all! ❤ God help!

MOVEMENT AND DONATION... A young man who has been in England for 10 years, has returned home determined to do something for his city! Brought here a new sport, which we do not practice ... Yet. It's about Teqball, some kind of table tennis, but with your foot! Wanting to promote the sport, Iulian Melinte took the link with DAPPC Bârlad, specifically with the management of the directorate and requested to organize a tournament to promote the sport, on the ground at the Municipal Stadium Bârlad (Fepa). And with this promotion, he also launched a teqball contest, for charity, to help save a 1-year-old and 9-month-old kid with parents from Barlad, but who live in Constanta. The sad story of the kid with cancer and the desperation of his parents, softened the hearts of those in charge of DAPPC Barlad who provided the football field for free. So, come to Teqball!

YOU ARE MY SUPER HEROES! 👼

As if by some miracle you appeared in my way and joined in this journey through life, which took the wrong path. Some monsters pulled my hand and took me to a dark land, but I AM VISE GREAT! I will not let them take away my innocent child smile and fight with all my might to get rid of them.

We are all convinced that this is not the way it was supposed to be, and you are helping me find my way back to a fairy-tale world of a normal childhood. I want to grow up and play the way any little man wants me to.

I am very excited and happy when I see how many people love me and wait for me to come home healthy! Mommy and Daddy are gaining strength thanks to you!

I don't even know if i'm going to call it good news, but we're glad things have evolved, and TAVI has started the first CHIMIOTERAPY SESSION. It will take 9 weeks and depending on how the tumor withdraws, it is possible to have surgery or to start a second chemo session, in the worst case will also do radiotherapy, but hopefully it will not be necessary.

Throughout treatment, cytostatics will be administered intravenously through the catheter that was placed on the right side above the clavicle.

After the first meeting, our little boy felt very sick. He was listless, sweated excessively and threw up a lot.

It's cruel to see him in such a pitiful state, but we try to be strong for him, even if our world collapses and we don't understand why it takes such a small man to go through such a ordeal.

Octavian, the little boy of the runner Cristi Bornaz, was diagnosed with a terrible disease, and a large amount is needed for treatment.

In support of the family hit by this trouble came even more people from the world of sport, who auctioned various objects.
Fc Lighthouse Constanta was also joined by FC Lighthouse.

Although we have been hospitalized for a very short time, Dr. Tirol Baytan and his entire team are moving very quickly in terms of treating Octavian's disease.
So far, he's had blood samples taken, he's had a supraclavicular catheter, a CT scan on his lungs, PET-CT and MRI.

Campaign started on: 02.10.2020

Name: Bornaz

First name: Octavian

Age: 1 year and 9 months

Amount required: 60000 euro

Diagnosis: alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma

Clinic where he will perform the operation and treatment: Italy

Octavian's story

No one understands how and why innocent beings like a baby fall victim to gruesome health problems. The fact is that it happens and it can happen to any parent what happened to the Bornaz.

Octavian, their son of only 1 year and 9 months, was diagnosed with a form of cancer that develops in soft tissues. It wasn't until a few months ago that they found out that the swelling in the upper lip was a malignant tumor, not a cyst that would go by itself, as several doctors had told them.

You can imagine the shock and pain they have experienced and still experience when they hear some dry words - alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma - which denotes a grim reality - their child will die if he is not operated on urgently!

The despair of Octavian's mother and father is as great as the amount he has to raise to pay for the surgery that can save his life plus subsequent treatments: 60,000 euros!

Poor people have only 4,000 euros raised, which is almost nothing for how much they need to get their child out of the clutches of death. That is why they asked us very much to help them raise the rest of the sum, so that Octavian would have an extra chance at life, that they could live, grow up beautifully and enjoy their parents.

Any donation made in the accounts of the "Save a Heart" Association (either by bank card or by PayPal or sponsorship contract) can save it. And if you want to help him in the long run, you can do it with a recurring payment. During the campaign, you can constantly donate an amount of your choice.
