A little boy from Arad County lives on the boundary between life and death. Antonio Popovici suffers from Type 1 Werdnig-Hoffmann spinal amyotrophy, a terrible disease that progressively weakens the muscles of the body, including the heart. He was only two months old when he received the terrible diagnosis and has been in hospitals ever since, tormented by machines, operations and treatments far too harsh for such a small body. Weighing as much as an infant, the baby was fed only by gastric probe. Only after surgery did he manage to gain a few pounds in weight, but his ordeal did not end. After multiple infections, most started from the lungs, Antonio no longer has the strength to breathe on his own. He needs a special device without which he will not be able to live with his family, but risks taking his last breath in a hospital ward. The state does not settle the medical device, and the parents are too poor to afford it. Florin has an income of almost 1,000 lei, and Maria sits 24 hours a day by his son's bed, praying for a miracle. It takes €13,000 plus additional treatment costs. Together we can raise this money to save the life of little Antonio Popovici.
