Bogdanel's heartbreaking story

"Girls are broken, the sky has fallen on me, my 3-year-old boy has been diagnosed with a liver tumor!"

That's the message of a mother who by the age of three and a month thought her firstborn was perfectly healthy. It all started against the background of a high fever, and on the first tests a urinary infection appeared, yet the consultation with the pediatrician sent them to an abdominal ultrasound, here he would receive the terrible news.

The child's parents, Popa Cristian and Popa Sorina-Mihaela, are taking all necessary steps to get the wonderful little boy, who never gave any sign that he would be plagued by such a disease.

The diagnosis of "hepatoblastoma in the 4th degree with metastases to the lungs" was put in Galati and confirmed in Cluj, with the recommendation of chemotherapeutic treatment and liver transplantation. Since the operation cannot be done in Cluj, the parents opted to go to a medical center where treatment and surgery could be done as well. The recommendations with the highest chances of treatment were to Turkey, and the case was accepted by the team at American Hospital. Biopsy and investigations done here not only reconfirmed the diagnosis but also revealed that the malignant tumor is of aggressive form, which is why it was decided to start chemotherapy immediately. Attempts are, however, to save the liver through a personalized protocol to the little patient.

Because the costs are high, far beyond the powers and resources of their parents, they need all the help!
