After a hard battle with the disease, Maria's body gave in this morning at 3 o'clock. God chose Mary to watch over us from above. Condolences to family and friends.
The entire amount needed for the medical device from Linde to help Maria Coiculescu to keep her alive was paid by Mr. George Becali. The difference in the amount raised by the humanitarian campaign carried out by the "Save a Heart" Association will be directed to Maria according to the analyses and investigations that will come from Belgium in the near future. We'll keep you updated!

Maria was misdiagnosed, unfortunately. At the moment, she's not receiving any treatment, she's just connected to the breathing apparatus. It "suspects" to have mitochondrial myopathy. To confirm this disease, the results of the tests will be expected, which will arrive within a month. Their parents had blood taken to see if they were the disease is genetic. These analyses will be carried out in Belgium. On Friday, Maria underwent surgery to get a storm straight into her stomach, with which she was fed. Until the surgery, she was fed through the storm she had through her nose (4 months). If she was fed on her mouth, there would always be a problem to slow down and not be able to breathe. Thanks to the last operation Maria can be fed more easily with milk, tea and soup. By this way, we would like to thank the doctors who participated in the surgery and who are with Maria every day.

It urgently needs a ventilation package that costs a lot, i.e. the amount of EUR 18,480.
It is Coiculescu Maria, a dwarf of 1 year and 7 months. At the age of 1 year and 2 months, her mother noticed that the little girl was no longer holding her head well and was getting tired very quickly. They went to Timişoara, the little girl was given an MRI and an electromyogram, following the results being sent to Bucharest, Hospital No. 9. Analyses have been repeated and sent to
Germany, Belgium and France. A biopsy of the muscle in the foot followed and some changes were observed there. A team of doctors in France have made the diagnosis of DERMATOMIOZITA, being prescribed treatment. After 2 weeks of treatment with Solumetrol, the little girl developed aspiration pneumonia (everything she could not swallow was
in the lungs, saliva), thus being transferred to Maria Curie Hospital. Due to the fact that the disease has become complicated and that half of the lung has been combined (dry) it took surgery to install a Tracheostoma, at this time being helped to breathe by a ventilation apparatus without which it cannot live.
At this point, this child can only move his fingers very little and utter one more word, but with
all this remained a child fighter. Parents and one of the grandparents, are in Bucharest with the little girl, about 5 months and
having no other possibilities, i mat in the car. I can't bring my little girl home because she can't breathe on her own,
parents are either required to rent the ventilation package or buy it. The rental costs 900 Euros per month and the purchase 18,480 Euros. It is not possible to move to the pediatric ward in Tg-Jiu, as there are no machines necessary to keep her alive. The little girl's father and several relatives went to various state authorities to get help in procuring the ventilation package, but they were not successful. We hope that the purchase of this package for ventilation will be able to be purchased, so necessary to restore her health. God take care of this wonder of the little girl!
