Thanks to your generosity, we were able together to purchase the Trilogy 100 from Philipps necessary to continue the mechanical ventilation so necessary to prolong the child's life. After Emanuel Dobre gets well the medical part will be donated to the Luis Turcanu Municipal Hospital in Timisoara.

Dobre Emanuel, aged 2 years and 3 months, born on February 6, 2014, comes from a family with 5 children, domiciled in Bocsa, Caras Severin. The family of origin is a modest family, which can hardly cope with everyday needs. Emanuel has been diagnosed since April 2016 with Spinal Amyotrophy Type I, a severe and progressive muscle condition, a situation that is hardly supported by the family due to special needs for care and financial support. Parents work with the day in the village, but despite the limited possibilities, they are concerned to provide all the necessary children. Due to the poor condition, the patient was permanently admitted to the Louis Turcanu Children's Hospital on the palliative care ward, requiring permanent mechanical ventilation. Any attempt to end the mechanical ventilation was resulting in failure, the patient totally dependent on this type of ventilation and his absence being incompatible with life. We hereby request your help for this family to purchase a Trilogy Philips 100 mechanical fan. It is worth mentioning that prolonged hospitalization favors contact with nosocomial infections, which endangers the patient's life. For this reason it is recommended to remove the patient from the hospital environment and transfer him to a specialized territorial palliative care center. He needs a special device without which he will not be able to live with his family, but risks taking his last breath in a hospital ward. The state does not settle the medical device, and the parents are too poor to afford it.
