The small steps of a child can be the great victories of a family. Vlad Chetan, a 5-year-old boy, faces challenges that many of us cannot imagine: epilepsy, motor development disorder and mental retardation. But even in the face of these obstacles, Vlad started a new session of Cuevas Medek, a ray of hope for him and his family.
I don't have enough words to thank physiotherapist Savu Alexandru. With boundless patience and deep dedication, he helps Vlad discover his strength and take his first steps. Steps that are not only a physical movement, but also a sign of progress, hope and unconditional love.
On behalf of Vlad and his family, we thank all those who support, encourage and send good thoughts. Every gesture, every word of support makes the difference in Vlad's struggle.

Hello!
First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support and help! Thanks to your generosity and encouragement, Vlad, who at the age of 5 faces epilepsy, a motor development disorder and mental retardation, has better and better results. I am happy to announce that our little fighter now manages to stand on his own if he is leaning against something and is much more attentive to the environment. His every progress is a victory for all those who have supported us.
I would like to pay special tribute to the donors. Without your generosity and faith in Vlad, we could not have hoped for such progress. We continue the fight, hoping that each day brings us closer to a better future for him.

Vlad's story
Any new parent is eager to hear their son or daughter say, for the first time, "mom" or "dad." It's a natural, natural thing in the baby's life, but for some people this moment may not come - their child may not be able to communicate with them because of a condition that keeps him prisoner in a state of helplessness...
Alexandra and Cătălin Chețan would give anything to hear Vlad shout at them or at least smile at them, as any 5-year-old child can do. Their little boy, however, is trapped in a dungeon built by numerous epileptic seizures that have affected him strongly and prevented his normal development.
When Vlad appeared in our lives, everything seemed wonderful. But after only 5 months, everything changed radically. Vlad started crying day and night, startling in his sleep, and the doctors walking me from left to right that everything was fine and that it was just a gum pain. Unfortunately, after 2-3 days of crying and not sleeping, the first epileptic seizure appeared, but not the last, says Alexandra Chețan.
That was the beginning of a long journey through hospitals, as the crises multiplied, and Vlad began to be more and more absent. The child no longer looked at his parents, no longer smiled and no longer held his head up - he was like a doll.
Today, Vlad undergoes daily physical and mental recovery therapy. He hasn't had epileptic seizures for 3 years, but he still doesn't walk, he doesn't talk and he doesn't sit alone on his ass. Alexandra and Cătălin did everything they could and, for 3 years, they raised money to ensure the little boy had access to hyperbaric therapy and TheraSuit therapy, sessions that cost hundreds of lei each and on which Vlad's future depends, but their savings were exhausted. Now they need 6,000 lei per month to continue the treatments for the child's recovery.
Currently only my husband (sports teacher) works, and I am on leave
Raising a child with disabilities. Because of this, we cannot raise the necessary money. We desperately ask you, don't let our dream be shattered! We want Vlad to be able to play with his brother, and one day to be able to call us "mom" and "dad". Any amount matters enormously to us!
Catalin, Vlad's older brother, can't wait to play together, but his desire depends on the help that the family will receive from us, those who care about those who are suffering.
