Denise's story

We cannot become perfect without suffering, especially when the disease occurs unexpectedly. This humbles us in front of life first, then in front of others, precisely by the fact that we need their help, unable to live in isolation. So when we get sick, it would be appropriate to understand that this is our attempt, our ladder to heaven. For both the sick and those who do not remain indifferent, but engage in the recovery of their hard-pressed fellow.

Denisa, 21, who was diagnosed with secondary neuromuscular lumbar dorsal hypercystosis. This is how the heavy and tiring roads began at various specialist doctors in Romania. Following medical investigations, she was recommended to sit on physiotherapy and wear a special corset. After a period of treatment and recovery, the results were not expected by Denise's family. The specialist doctor recommended surgery. The parents finally decided to go with Denisa to Monza Hospital in Bucharest, to the specialist doctor Alexandru Thenry. But the costs (16,000 euros) are very high and far exceed the possibilities of the young woman and her family. 

The sum of 16,000 euros is a very large amount, for most of us. However, if everyone donates as much as they can, this money will be raised and the young woman will be able to get out of this difficult situation. It is in our power to give him a chance at a normal life. Each donation made in the accounts of the "Save a Heart" Association can be the basis of the healing of young Denisa Coștiug.
