Alexander has made wonderful progress in these years, due to your generosity, and recently, following a medical consultation at an international clinic, he received wonderful news: he has an increasing chance of becoming a normal child. He needs several operations to elongate the tendons to the knees and osteotomy operations.

I was born on a beautiful end-of-summer day on August 20th, in the year of the total solar eclipse, in 1999 and I received two beautiful first names: Alexander- Dumitru.

Back then, no one suspected anything. I was a normal baby. I was eating, crying, laughing... and the days passed following their path, normal and natural.

After the age of one and a half, my parents were interested in how it was and how it was natural, why I do not go - NORMAL - like all children.

The answer came quickly: "It's a boy and it's me lazy....it's going to work."

At about 2 and a half years old, my parents learned the cruel truth – I was sick – with the diagnosis: Spastic Paraparesis and Cerebelos Syndrome – Grade I (serious).

Since then, the nightmare has begun, endless paths to various doctors, analysis over analyses, recoveries over recoveries, two operations - one in 2006 and another in 2013 - tendon stretching operations.

I have to mention that every move in my life, my mother always has to support me.

At the age of 8 I crossed the threshold of school, and now I am a student in the 8th grade and I really want to continue my studies.

The schedule of a day is very busy:

- in the morning we go to recovery

- afternoon at school

- The rest of the time I learn and carry in my heart a flame that is not allowed to go out – the hope that one day I will go.

Every day out of the parents' pocket 20 lei, every day, only on the means of transport shower – Back to Techirghiol, to the Pilot Center, where I do kineto - therapy .

The doctors told me that I have a 100% chance, but my parents' financial situation is difficult, and without recoveries, my chances would be significantly reduced, so, ROG from the heart, all of you with a big heart help me.
