How can you remain impassive to the pain of a mother who just wants to raise her children? How can you not be there for a woman who just wants to live, even though a terrible disease threatens her life?

LudmilaDr.Gan thinks every day about Vlad and Dimitri, her boys, for whom she would do anything to be good for them. Since learning that she has advanced cirrhosis of the liver and complications in her heart, the 37-year-old woman has no peace of mind. He is afraid of giving his two sons orphans as a mother, "my support and joy" as he describes them.

The treatments he followed to get rid of the disease did not work, unfortunately. Her only chance at life remained a liver transplant, a procedure that cannot be performed in the country.

Hope comes from a clinic in Turkey, but being a private medical institution, the costs are commensurate with capacity and expertise. EUR 48900 is an enormous price for the possibilities of a state education educator paid the equivalent of €400 per month. Even with the income of the husband, who works as a car mechanic, paid 550€, there is not so much money to be raised.

Please from the bottom of my heart, people of great heart, help me to believe in the future, to be able to look into the eyes of my children without tears and to see them grow up,is the prayer of Ludmila Dragan, seen unable to free herself from the suffering caused both by the disease itself and by the bleak prospect she creates.

The Save a Heart Association has an impressive history of similar cases, where large sums were needed, unattainable for the sick, but which gathered through the solidarity of friends who put their hand and donated, each as much as they could.
