Anastasia's story
A great joy has turned into an ongoing struggle to save a baby. Long-awaited and desired by her parents, Anastasia Foca came into the world in a hurry, just 26 weeks old, and that's where the problems started.
The day after the birth, the little girl had a brain haemorrhage, did not feed and breathed only with the help of machines. For four months she was in intensive care and, although she was not given much chance of survival, the child wanted to live, and to have a normal life she needed help, a lot of medical help.
Her chance consists of recovery therapies (Vojta, Terrasuit, physical therapy, craniosacral therapy, relaxation massage and albe), which cost almost €1,000 monthly. Added to this are speech therapysessions, which means another 500 lei.
How could a single mother cover all these costs in order to save her daughter from a gloomy destiny, if they both live onthe child-rearing allowance, the companion's allowance and an allowance, from which she must also pay the rent of €350?
Just a mother not to be in such a situation, when you have to survive from day to day and struggle to pay for the increasing costs of the therapies that give your child a chance at a normal life.
The therapiesAnastasia must follow promise a recovery ang="en" style="font-size:12.0pt">n 80-90%, which is more than gratifying given the diagnoses (spastic tetraparesis, severe motor retardation and language retardation).
This little angel needs help, this mother needs support, because she can't fight alone! We need to give Anastasia the chance she needs to overcome health problems and become a healthy and cheerful child.
