After further consultations with various specialistdoctors, he was recommended to perform the medullary transplant. Finally, he was sent to Turkey at the Emsey Clinic, known internationally for his good results in similar cases. However, the family's financial situation does not allow him to pay the sum of 90,000 euros.

Mario's story
In a family and this Christmas will come with the same desire: to be able to see their baby healthy and free of pain.
For 3 years, Mario Grigoriu goes through many health problems, too many for a baby his age. Since birth, he has been diagnosed with heart failure and for a year and a half has undergone specific treatment.
Then, in the spring of last year, doctors gave their parents another sad news. The little boy also suffers from thrombocytopenia, a condition that can cause bleeding even in case of minor blows. And after this diagnosis, long treatments followed, which included blood transfusions.
As time went on, analyses began to show lower and lower values. This summer, in the height of the pandemic, Mario was also diagnosed with a problem with his esophagus. Due to the altered state of health, there was no interference in this regard, and doctors believe they may need a bone marrow transplant.
For a complete diagnosis, a thorough assessment of 5,000 euros is required. Depending on these in-depth investigations, it will be known exactly what is the most optimal treatment for this "golden lump", as his mother calls it.
Valeria wrote to us, with pain in her heart, that just as gold is expensive, the life of her blond "snowball" is very expensive and would give her anything to pay her everything she needs to get better. Unfortunately, it is a family with four other children and extremely limited financial possibilities.
We're at the point where it looks like we're headed for the bone marrow transplant. It's our last chance, which is why we ask you to help us,asks Mario's mother.
Together we can raise the 5,000 euros needed for this baby to have the chance of fair treatment, which will entitle him to a normal life.
