In the depths of my heart, an acute pain persists, but a thread of hope runs through my soul, because the doctor, with tired but sure eyes, told me that the operation was a success.

At the moment, my future in these white walls is uncertain, waiting for the day of discharge that is still awaited. And even though the road to recovery seems long now, with an estimated duration of three to six months, every day will be a step towards healing. Nerve surgery, as the doctor explained to me in a gentle but firm voice, will bring days of intense pain. But in this challenge, I find not only trials, but also the promise of a return to a full life. Every moment of pain is a milestone towards rediscovering inner strength and hope that one day I will be able to enjoy again the simple pleasure of a pain-free walk.
