A Chance for Selena – Together for Life

Today, we write to you with hearts full of hope and emotion, on behalf of a wonderful little girl who needs our help – Selena Harasim. Selena is an incredibly brave little girl with eyes that radiate innocence and a smile that can light up the whole world. But behind this smile, there is immense suffering: Selena is facing an extremely serious diagnosis – severe scoliosis with a 121° Cobb angle, a condition that has not only stolen her childhood, but is life-threatening. Without surgery, Selena risked losing her life.

This little fighter urgently needs a vital operation, which will take place at the Monza hospital in Bucharest, under the care of Dr. Alexandru Thenry. The surgery involves fitting a Halo device, a 30-day intensive hospitalization period, thorough medical investigations, the actual surgery, and a difficult but absolutely essential recovery. This is her only chance to have a childhood without terrible pain, to run, dream and live.

The costs of this difficult road to healing amount to 57,980 euros – a colossal amount for the Harasim family, who have already made superhuman efforts. But this financial burden becomes easier if each of us contributes, no matter how little.
