Angels exist! She is our little Delia! A child who fought for life from the first second.

"At birth, the child was not properly oxygenated, generating numerous problems: mental retardation, microcephaly, global developmental delay and muscular hypotonia", delia's mother told us. 2 years ago, the problems in the spine worsened, a severe scoliosis being developed during the pandemic. But because angels exist and help hearts, Delia was operated on at Monza Hospital by Dr. Alexander Thiery, and now she is going through the steps of the post-surgical recovery program at the Recover clinic. It's not easy, but Delia, she's an example of willpower and power for all. Bravo!

This was possible with the help of the "Save a Heart" Association, which was involved in raising the necessary funds for both surgery and medical recovery.

Delia's story

No parent wants their baby to receive a grade of 0 at birth, but there are also such cases, and when this happens you know that it follows a long, arduous and painful road in which you watch your child struggle under the burden of diseases too heavy to carry for a baby.

Delia Husein had just come into the world when she was resuscitated to be brought back to life. The child didn't have her brain oxygenated properly, and that's where the problems started.

The little girl started walking only at the age of 3, and at the age of 9 she began to speak, thanks to countless speech therapy sessions. Two years ago, he began to have serious problems with the column. Because of the pandemic, which blocked everything, the corset she was wearing no longer helped her and developed scoliosis.

The problems of this child seem to never end, and the fact that the family has no consistent income only makes her situation worse. Delia's mother works as a personal assistant at the town hall, and her father works by day.

These people desperately need help to ease the ordeal of the 13-year-old girl and to be able to take care of her 11-year-old brother as well. Any donation made in the accounts of the Association "Save a Heart" can be a real godsman for the Husein family.
