Dearly beloved, good evening. I promised to keep you updated and keep my word. Darius, it looks better, physically, I don't know what malformation is, internally. That's what we're going to find out on Monday, January 20th, and if it's okay, we're going to do the embolization on the same day.

We're good, we're good. Everything's gone superlative, so far. We're still monitoring him for adverse reactions. Let me tell you: Darius cried a little, f---ing, at first, then he sang Santa Claus, he beat everyone up and, from the first moment, the whole medical team, doctors and nurses fell in love with him. Then, after the embolization, after he recovered, he hugged them all and kissed them, telling them that he felt nothing and that he flew the space shuttle over Romania, over the house andsaw all his loved ones. The whole medical team had tears in their eyes, it made us all cry with joy. He's a child prodigy!!!! We thank these wonderful doctors and the whole team, we thank you for joining us and with your prayers everything went unexpectedly well. So much professionalism, so much kindness from doctors and the entire medical team, I don't know how to explain... they induced optimism, positive energy and deep silence. Thank you, darlings!!!!!

A desperate mother needs our support, everyone. At just 4 years old, Darius Lica not only goes through terrible pain, but has been diagnosed with an extremely rare disease and which, it seems, cannot be treated in Romania.

The diagnosis is a very rare one, and mommy doesn't even know why the profile of doctors belongs to this malformation, although she has been in many hospitals. It is the wrist, the palmar face of the distal left forearm, insioned among the flexor tendons of the fingers.

Because of this malformation, Darius wakes up every morning with severe pain, pains that often return during the day. A pain-in-pain lasts a week and manifests itself with the clenching of the hand, at which point the mother turns to what she thinks can help him, cold compresses and Lioton Gel, having no recommendation from doctors. After the hand relaxes and is no longer clenched, Darius can no longer use it for days, being powerless. The first signs that there is a problem appeared early, from just a few months, but at the Mother and Child Institute did not receive any recommendation, only to wait until the little one grows up so as not to torment him. The child's malformation extends more and more towards the elbow, from 7 cm has already reached 10 cm. Another risk is internal bleeding, and time is becoming more and more precious.

For years, Darius spends most of his time in hospitals, at the age when other children sit with their families, play, lead a normal and happy life. Nowhere did he receive even a small ray of hope, all the doctors told him either that it was a rare case and that he would not find a doctor to operate, whether the risks were too great or another response received was that in Romania there is no embolization for children.

The only solution that gives hope to this desperate mother is at a specialized clinic recommended by many doctors, Wiener Privatklinik. Doctors in Vienna told him that this was not the first case of its kind for them, that they were building veins, nerves, and that they had managed to cure extremely serious malformations. Their method is much more complex than what can be done in Romania, but the costs are commensurate. For little Darius it would take 4-5 embolization sessions, when a meeting costs 5218 euros. With these embolizations, the baby could get rid of surgery. Viennese doctors attended a special world congress for Darius' case, presented the MRI video and photos of his hand there to discover the medication needed after surgery to prevent relapse.

Darius' mother needs all of us, the little one can only be cured with our help, because the costs are way too big. The state does not contribute anything, doctors in Romania are totally overwhelmed by the situation, and the only hope remains at the clinic in Vienna.

A child's health depends on us, his future may be better if we mobilize to give, to give an angel a chance at a normal life, free of pain that is hard to endure.
