Lucian's story

An extraordinary man, a gentle and warm person, who helps anyone without hesitation...

That's what Paul Luchian, a 27-year-old with a passion for cinema, described, whose life dramatically changed his plans, forcibly opposing a serious road accident.

In mid-November last year, Paul ended up in a grade 4 coma at the hospital, but miraculously crossed the critical threshold and was stabilised, receiving care at the ATI ward for nearly two months.

He then arrived at a clinic in Oradea, where he is still on his way to recovery. It will be a long road because the injuries suffered as a result of the accident require complex treatments, medicines, procedures and interventions that cost a lot.

The first year of recovery will cost 44,000 euros, meaning hospitalization, drugs, physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychotherapy, neurological therapy and other medical means to put Paul back on a normal course.

It's understandable that a family can't cover such costs on its own, especially since parents and friends can barely cope with the shock that such a misfortune happened to Paul, a young man who dreamed of making a name for himself in the film world...

Life beats any movie, however, and the ending often depends on how involved those who "play" with us are. In the film of Paul Luchian's life, we need new actors, people to enter the scene of his suffering and change the scene, people to replace despair with hope through donations, by any amount that can be given for the purpose of his recovery.
