The little ones teach us a lesson in love and especially unite us when they are in very difficult situations to help them. Today, unfortunately, little Madalin Smedoiu has lost his battle with Life.The hardest thing for me is when I talk to the parents of these Angels.

I come with two news to you: one good and the other less good.

The money for the treatment with cytostatics that the little Madalin Smedoiu must make we managed to raise them in record time (60,000 Euros), but because of the very advanced stage of the disease, there is a very high probability that it will require a bone marrow transplant.

Because of the chemotherapy sessions, Madalin's body is very, very weak, but even so, it sends us many smiles from there in Turkey. The good news is that his chances of survival are high, but he must be kept under constant observation. We were also able to induce the representatives of the Hospital in Istanbul, who also offered us a discount for the entire treatment period.

Normally, the complete treatment (chimio + marrow transplant) - over a period of about 1 year - reaches 120,000 Euros, but we managed to get a total cost of 95,000 Euros! So, we're still 12829 Euros to raise all the money and give Madalin a chance at life!

The sad story of little Mădălin Smedoiu

Madalin Smedoiu is a little boy of only 3 years and 5 months, whose natural course of childhood was interrupted 9 months ago by a painful and unrelenting disease.
Following a tonsillitis operation, a very aggressive type of cancer was also triggered: Burkitt Grade 4 Non-Hodking Lymphoma. The news struck all their loved ones, hardened them with pain and dread...
The only eyes that still seem to smile are little Madalin's.. He doesn't know, but we know that beyond his serene smile, he lurks a heavy suffering... On his innocence will pounce a cruel, merciless pain that will banish the serenity from his beautiful face...  From then on, everything became extremely difficult for the parents, but especially for the child, who could no longer enjoy his childhood and the presence of his 9-month-old sister.
His chance at life came from Turkey, from Istanbul's Medical Park Hospital, but the treatment costs well beyond the family's possibilities: 60,000 Euros!
