Help me go back to school!

Hi, I'm Flori and I'm 7 years old. I'm a cheerful little girl, full of dreams and hopes. I like to draw, read stories and play with my dolls. When I'm at school, I love learning new things, hanging out with my classmates and laughing together. But sometimes I feel different… 

I was born with six fingers on each hand and a crooked toe on my right foot. Since I was just a baby, mommy and the doctors have tried to help me. So far, I have gone through seven surgeries – each with pain, recovery, hope… and more waiting. The last surgery was on January 20, 2025, when doctors operated on my little foot, separating the space between my big toe and the one next to it.

But my journey didn’t end there. In order for me to be able to walk and use my little hands normally, I still need other surgeries:

🔹 Osteotomy and fixation of the toe, so that I can step correctly and without pain.

🔹 New surgeries on my little hands, so that I can use my fingers without struggling.

Mommy looked for help everywhere. The doctor who operated on me when I was 3 months old told us that he had done everything possible in Romania. Then, Mommy didn’t give up and looked for hospitals abroad. I received answers, but the costs are very high…

When I found out about a hospital that could operate on me, we were very happy! But just one foot surgery costs 15,400 euros… and I still need more surgeries. Mommy tried everywhere to find solutions, and through the school principal I met Mrs. Narcisa, who also tried to help us. Unfortunately, wherever I asked, the costs were beyond our means…

Now, I come to you with an open heart and hope! 🙏 I dream of being able to play again without pain, to run, write and draw without feeling that my little hands hurt. I want to go to school and have a normal childhood, like all children.
