We invite you to join us on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in the Monument Park in Brăila (main alley - Children's Town), between 10:00 and 12:00, to participate in a humanitarian race organized in support of little Theoris Manea, who, at just two years old, is fighting leukemia.
The event aims to raise funds for Theoris' treatment and raise awareness about this serious disease. Participants will have the opportunity to run, donate and get actively involved in supporting a noble cause.

We were deeply scared and went through a real roller coaster of emotions and worries again. 🎢😰 With hearts full of anxiety, we share with you another difficult episode in our fight with the disease.
On Friday, tests showed that Theoris' hemoglobin dropped to 7.9 — far too low for the time we're in. A blood transfusion was needed to provide him with the support he needed. 😔💉 We spent the whole weekend with a heavy heart, full of emotions and worries, and today we are back in the hospital for a CT scan. 🏥
Theoris has reached a point where he can no longer stand the repeated stings every time we go to the hospital. She cries and screams in pain, and today it took three people to hold her while her blood was drawn. 😢💔😓
Its pain and exhaustion tear our souls apart. She is such a brave little girl, but the suffering she goes through is indescribable. Please continue to support us with prayers and good thoughts. 🙏💖 Every day is a struggle, but we hope that, together, we will be able to get through these difficult moments.

Today, with a heart full of gratitude and emotion, we bring you the big news that we have been waiting for with so much hope: after 7 days of isolation and challenges, the COVID test of our little Theoris came out NEGATIVE! 🎉🎉
This result is a ray of light in a long, dark tunnel, and our happiness cannot be expressed in words. After a week of fears and uncertainties, we are deeply grateful for this good news and for all your support and love that has surrounded us.
Theoris was discharged from the hospital and now, in the safety of our home, she will continue the anti-COVID treatment at home. 🏠 This Wednesday, we will go to the hospital again for post-transplant treatment, but now we are encouraged by the progress our little fighter is making. 💪🌈
Every day with her is a precious gift, every smile and every step forward are reasons for great joy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your unceasing support and prayers. 💖🙏

Theoris has been hospitalized for 3 days, being diagnosed with COVID. 😔 Our little girl started coughing on Saturday. We notified the doctors, who recommended us to come to the hospital on Monday. We were scheduled for the CT scan on Tuesday. On Monday, after analysis, it was discovered that Theoris has COVID and was urgently admitted to isolation, along with her mother. 🏥
COVID is particularly dangerous for transplant patients because the tests are at a lower level, and anti-COVID treatment can interfere with post-transplant medications. ⚠️
We pray that we get through this period as easily as possible and we hope it will be just an easy form. 🙏 God help! 💖

The story of little Darya
With souls full of hope and determination, we share with you the story of little Theoris Darya, an angel of only one year and four months, who began her struggle with life much too early. Theoris, cheerful, energetic and curious, was diagnosed at a simple medical check-up with acute lymphoblastic leukemia type B, classified as High Risk, having the IKZF1 genetic mutation.
Her heartbroken parents knew they had to do everything they could to give Theoris the best chance of healing. They flew urgently to Italy, with high hopes and overwhelming emotions. There, doctors immediately began chemotherapy treatment, but the disease proved to be extremely resistant, worsening due to the genetic mutation. Unfortunately, in the third course of treatment, immediately after immunotherapy, the disease relapsed.
The doctors suddenly stopped the previously prescribed treatment and, after further checks, decided to continue with another type of immunotherapy and chemotherapy, preparatory steps for transplantation. Almost a year after the diagnosis, the transplant was performed, the donor being her mother, because the donor found on the donor list was too old.
After almost three months of fighting in the hospital, during which Theoris went through unimaginable trials - days without food, pain so strong that only morphine could relieve them, rashes, areas of skin changing color, partially drooping nails and even the need for a second transplant to support the first - they went through moments of deep fear. An episode of fainting frightened them, but finally the day came when the doctors decided that they could leave the hospital to continue post-transplant treatment on an outpatient basis.
Although they hoped that everything would end well and that they could go home, the parents discovered that Theoris has a special case. The transplant was a particular one and the risk of contracting other diseases or viruses is very high. For this reason, they are forced to stay in Italy, close to the hospital, for at least another six months.
Today, overwhelmed with emotion, pain and hope, Theoris continues the fight against this ruthless disease. Even after the transplant, he must go to the hospital every three days for tests and change of medication, to eliminate all the risks associated with the transplant. The analyzes are still at the lower limit and they are trying to bring them to the normal level.
For the next 6 months, the family's expenses for rent, utilities, medicines and other necessities reach €18,000. Of this amount, €6,300 must be paid urgently, by August, for the rent for another 6 months, so that he can stay close to the hospital until February 2025.
