First and last day in hospital... Luke learned to be patient and build step by step like a newborn, the new walk. His entire locomotor system is perceived differently by the body after surgery, and he works to win this battle.
In 3 months we will return to this hospital and during this time we will be in contact with those here to optimize the evolution and follow the changes.

With excitement and hope, we inform you that little Luca Manolachi, 8 years old, who fights with cerebral palsy and autism, was hospitalized starting today at Acibadem Hospital in Turkey. This step represents the beginning of an essential medical journey for Luca, which we hope will contribute to restoring a childhood as close to normalcy as possible.
On behalf of thousands of hearts beating for the good of our children, Save a Heart Association paid 1300 EURO for the necessary medical care. The confirmation of this payment is attached, according to the payment order.

Luke's story
There are some words in this world that immediately cause you pain, anxiety, anger or depression when they are strictly related to you or the lives of your loved ones. In addition to the dreaded "cancer", which shakes anyone, "autism" is the diagnosis that radically changes the lives of parents whose children have been hit by such a disease.
Marius and Florina Manolachi have been fighting for years for the health of their son, Luca. From birth they realized that they would not have an easy life, after the little boy came into the world prematurely and suffered two brain hemorrhages that affected his locomotor and intellectual development.
We knew from the beginning that if God left him in our care, we would be endowed with power to raise him great and strong. We have made every effort to lessen its problems, but there will always be sequelae. It grows and becomes increasingly difficult to care for. Cerebral palsy and autism are hard to treat, but there is evidence that love and joint effort bring benefits, says Florina.
Today, Luca is 8 years old, goes to school and therapies, socializes and wants more independence. He wants to be able to walk alone, without being helped, but this can only become a reality after an operation performed at Acibadem Hospital in Turkey. The intervention is promising, but also very expensive - it costs € 25,000. Luke's parents can't afford to raise that much money. Marius earns 1,800 lei as a personal assistant for the child, and Florina has a salary of 2,020 lei monthly as a sales agent.
Every child deserves to be on his own feet to prepare him for adult life, which will be much more difficult. "I pray that we overcome this financial hurdle and that we can see Luke walking alone and opening up new opportunities for other children like him," says the boy's mother, who hopes with all her being that the world will donate to help her son.
It's hard to imagine what life is like as a parent with an autistic child when you've never faced such a diagnosis. But it's not hard to realize how important it is to help an innocent child have an extra chance at a life as close to normal as possible. Even if you don't have the power to bring healing, it's just as vital to improve his situation, to help him be better off in the long run.
Therefore, any donation made in the accounts of the "Save a heart" Association will give Luca a brighter future, more independence, which in time will mean a better life. We are here, on Earth, to love one another, to be by our side, especially in times of hardship, for none of us will be safe from suffering, and with the extent with which we give, with that it will be offered to us.
