Little Stefan's story

Stefan is a 6-year-old boy, diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) for almost two years. He comes from a modest family, which faces multiple difficulties. In addition to Stefan, the family has two other children: a 7-year-old girl, who is healthy, and a 5-year-old boy, diagnosed with global developmental delay and paralysis, following an intraventricular hemorrhage with ventriculomegaly.

Due to limited financial resources, the family cannot provide the necessary therapy for Stefan in its entirety. He benefits from 8 hours of speech therapy and ABA per month, but he would need 16 hours to make significant progress. The annual amount needed for Stefan's therapy is 5000 euros, an amount that is difficult to cover without the support of the community.

We do everything we can, but we manage to provide him with only 8 hours of therapy per month, although he would need at least 16. It is painful to know that there are solutions, but not to be able to offer them to your child because of the money. We have another sick child and it is a continuous struggle to meet their needs.

My dream is that, one day, Stefan will be able to communicate with us. But without more therapy, this dream remains only a hope. Please, from the bottom of my heart, help us to give Stefan a chance.
