On Friday, May 31, 2024, I experienced the most intense 15 hours of my life. It was the day when, under the talented hands of Dr. Alexandru Thiery and his team at Monza Hospital, our little Antonio was successfully operated. The emotions were overwhelming and time seemed to stand still as we waited for the news that brought us so much relief.

Now, after this difficult trial, a recovery period awaits us. We are aware that the road to healing will be a long and maybe sometimes difficult one, but our hope and love for Antonio give us the strength to face any challenge.

The future now sounds with the promise of simple joys and naughtiness specific to Antonio's age, which we can't wait to live together.
