We are happy to share with you that, in our fight for little Nectaria, we have been joined by people and companies with a big heart. Among those who chose to support this cause are Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari, which donated 5000 EURO, SOCAR ROMANIA, with a donation of 2000 EURO, and AERA TECHNOLOGY, which contributed 8000 LEI. Also, a company that preferred to remain anonymous offered the generous amount of 5000 EURO.
Words are superfluous when we see how much kindness and solidarity there is around us. Every gesture gives us hope and strength to continue fighting for Nectaria, so that she has a chance at a normal childhood.
However, our fight does not stop here. Medical investigations, surgery and recovery period follow. To cover the costs sent by the Monza Hospital in Bucharest, we still need 2700 EURO.
Nectaria is only 1 year and 2 months old, but she is already facing complicated diagnoses: VACTERL Syndrome, Klippel-Feil Sequences and Malformative Scoliosis. The total cost of the treatment is €30,750, and we fight every day to raise this amount to provide him with a normal life.

Nectaria was born with a difficult diagnosis – VACTERL Syndrome, Klippel-Feil Sequences and Malformative Scoliosis. His treatment requires a considerable amount, 30,750 euros, for specialized interventions and care at the Monza Hospital in Bucharest.

Nectaria was diagnosed with VACTERL Syndrome, Klippel-Feil Sequences and malformative scoliosis, conditions that require complex and expensive medical interventions. The amount needed for the treatment amounts to 30,750 euros, and the family's hope is linked to the Monza Hospital in Bucharest, where Nectaria has the chance to receive the care she needs.

🌸 Together for Nectaria - A childhood without pain 🌸
Today we write to you with hope, but also with a weight that no family should have to carry alone. Nectaria Petrovici, she is only 1 year and 2 months old, she needs your help. Nectaria was born special, with a fight that no child should have to fight from such a young age.
Although she came into the world with her twin sister Parascheva, Nectaria's life became complicated from the first days. She was born with an anorectal malformation and congenital scoliosis – problems that, unfortunately, were not detected either during the ultrasound scans during pregnancy or immediately after birth. Nectaria was brought into the world by caesarean section, and two weeks after birth I discovered a serious problem – anal imperforation with fistula.
This news broke the hearts of the family, but they did not have time to lose themselves in tears. They left urgently to St. Mary's Hospital in Iasi, where Nectaria was operated on for the first time. The next few months were a marathon of resurgeries and difficult treatments. Slowly, we managed to overcome this stage with dilations and a lot of patience.
But congenital scoliosis, detected by an X-ray before surgery, remained a constant threat. The doctors initially encouraged us, saying that there is a chance that it will correct itself as it grows. But time has shown otherwise. The growth of Nectaria has become uneven – the spine curves more and more to the right side, where there are fewer points of bone support.
They came to Dr. Alexandru Thiery at the Monza Hospital in Bucharest, hoping that a corset could stabilize the situation. Unfortunately, the news we received shattered our hopes: the corset cannot stop the evolution of scoliosis and the only solution is a delicate and innovative surgery.
Dr. Thiery assured us that it will not be necessary to remove the hemivertebrae of Nectaria. He will try to adjust the vertebrae and fix them with screws, thus allowing him to grow and develop normally. This is the good news. The less good news is that the surgery costs €30,750 - an amount that, unfortunately, the family cannot afford.
I am Nectaria's mother and, like any mother, I would do anything to see my child healthy. I try to be strong for her, but there are times when fear overwhelms me. I remember every night spent by her crib, every tear, every visit to the doctor. Lately, her scoliosis has visibly worsened and I am afraid that without this surgery, my little girl will not be able to have a normal childhood. Nectaria grows slowly and weakens quickly. I spent days at the hospital for infusions, and the physical therapy and massage treatments are the only ones that help her to bear the pain at the moment. I cannot accept that her life is limited by a problem that can be corrected now, when we still have time. I beg you from the bottom of my heart, any help, any donation, no matter how small, means hope for us. I pray every night for her health and for the kindness of the people who are with us.
