The story of little Adela

An unspeakable joy engulfed Aișe and Valentin Iftode when they found out that they would become parents. They looked forward to little Adela coming into the world, but at the control of the second trimester of pregnancy things changed. The joy turned into fear and anxiety, when the doctors told them that the little girl had a tumor on the left lobe of the liver.

They offered us two options: to stop the pregnancy from evolution or to give birth to the baby girl at only six months. I went to 4 more doctors, who also confirmed the diagnosis. On the recommendation of one, we arrived at the "Regina Maria" Hospital,says the young mother, 21 years old.

She managed to carry the pregnancy up to 37 weeks, when Adela was born and as early as the second day of life began to show signs that something was wrong with her. She bruised her face and breathed with difficulty, which is why she underwent thorough investigations.

The tests revealed another serious health problem – Adela has an arteriovenous fistula (an abnormal passage between an artery and a vein) and atrial septal defect (abnormal communication between the two upper chambers of the heart).

The doctors informed us that the only option to give Adele a normal life is to operate on her, but the intervention, just like every day of hospitalization, costs us enormously. We have accumulated debts of almost 15,000 lei. With tears in our eyes we ask you to help us and raise funds for Adela,told us Aeshe.

So, Adela depends on our donations, because the two parents cannot raise almost 8,000 euros of what they need to give their little girl a chance at a normal life. Any amount transferred to the accounts of the Association "Save a heart" can mean a change to go through in the life of the little girl who began to know from a young age to know difficulties that no child should endure. Innocence should never be subjected to such difficult trials, but we can ease suffering through our contributions to the financial effort of these people, to their struggle to save their child. Only together can we restore the joy of the beginning of this family!
