Hi all!

Yuuuppppiii, I returned home, to my 2 little treasures, my family, my friends, my wonderful students.

I am healthy and well, after 2 and a half weeks of investigations and the huge operation that lasted 7 hours, which involved laparotomy, drainage in the abdomen, repair of incisional abdominal hernias, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, reconstruction of the abdominal wall.

Thank you with all my heart for your universal support and, most importantly, for forcing me to be back on the right track, positive, optimistic and yet full of life and energy, because you have all come to know me as my nature (however, I am forbidden to sing for at least 3 months 🙂

I thank my angel, Anna Herkmen, who stood by my side all the time, showing professionalism and promptness, love and care and, above all, who made the world spin for me. Thank you, Ana! ❤

I would never have enough words to thank and appreciate all the effort made by Dr. Erman Aytac from Acibadem in solving my case, which came in September specifically to consult me face to face.

I will always be grateful to him for his curious way of finding out what happened to me and solving me. I am now who I am, in a recovery of 3 months, but healthy in mind and body, thanks to him and his great team of renowned doctors. Thanks sir!

Last but not least, nothing was possible without Vlad Placinta, the man who laid the foundation of the NGO "Save a heart", who acted and instantly responded to all my needs and requests, updating my case, showing more than empathy. Thank you, Vlad! You're unique!

From now on until the end of January, I have to recover. Things are going well, but slowly, I feel a little pain, I have to go to a first consultation plus investigations at the end of November,

and at the end of January, I hope to be declared fully functional, returning to ordinary life 🙂

Hello! I'm writing to you now, because it's the first day I can stand on my feet longer and not sleep most of the time. From what I was told by the doctors, the surgery lasted 7 hours, during which the whole interior was cleaned, my appendages and gallbladder were removed, the intestines were put in place and the operation closed with the reconstruction of the abdominal wall. I continue the infusion treatment with antibiotics, painkillers, started from the day of my arrival here, now I recover slowly, I feel burns on the entire abdominal surface, at any cough I have great pain, but everything is for the better. Thank you and I want the people who supported me to know that I passed these stages

I'm writing to you again, this time and fearful, but also with the optimism kept. Tomorrow I have the surgery, which I understand will take 5-6 hours, depending on the severity and urgency of what they will find inside me. This time I am aware, and then fear exists, but because of universal support, I feel compelled to be myself, positive, as always. It will be good, I have to come out victorious and return home well, to my family, my children and my students

Good morning! I said to keep you up to date with my condition I am very positive, extremely well cared for, still in investigations of all kinds, from CT, MRI, blood tests, ENT consultation, neurological consultation, oncological consultation, pus sample from surgery, everything needed to get on my feet. Next, the lesions on the liver are investigated, in order to clarify their nature. My body responds impeccably to the infusion treatment with antibiotics, next week they will operate on me.

Oana arrived in Turkey and from today she will undergo medical investigations and then will follow a treatment plan.

The "Save a Heart" Association paid today the sum of 50,000 euros to the Acibadem Atakent Clinic in Istanbul.

We'll keep you up to date with her health streak and her evolution.

Following the fundraising campaign, the amount of 80090 euros was collected.

Money that will be used for the treatment of Mrs. Oana Stegaru.

In case there is no need for any more funds or a smaller amount of the difference we will redirect it to other cases with serious malformations!
