Dear friends and supporters,
Today, with pride and with the invaluable help of each of you, the "Save a heart" Association has taken a significant step for David. We paid the amount of 2,526 RON, according to the attached payment order, thus ensuring the start of recovery sessions at Maria Beatrice Clinic in Alba Iulia.
This gesture means much more than a simple financial transaction. It is a promise fulfilled, a ray of hope added to David's life, and an important step on his path to a normal, happy childhood.
We cannot underestimate the impact we have when we join forces for a good cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, can change lives.

Good afternoon, dear ones,
Today we have lived moments that we will always keep in our hearts, moments full of tension and hope. Our little fighter, David, demonstrated his courage in the face of the most difficult challenge - stem cell autotransplantation. Looking at it, I really understood what strength and resilience meant.
Now we look to the future, hoping and praying that the days ahead will bring good news and a positive development for David. We know the road is long, but hope guides our steps.
We have no words to express our gratitude to you. Every donation, every pure thought, and prayer you have addressed has brought us here, given us hope, and kept us strong. You are our extended family, and we are deeply grateful to you.

We are approaching David's stem cell surgery and I want to thank everyone who has been with him in this campaign! There are people we don't know, but who heard our cry for help and wanted to contribute to his recovery. I understand that we have a long road ahead of us, but you have instilled hope in me, I know we are not alone!

The story of David Petrișor
Life is full of unpredictability. We walk with our heads held high, driven by mundane, natural thoughts and actions, and invariably give of situations completely opposite to our expectations. No one can predict what will happen to the plans and desires we may have nurtured since we were little.
If in the case of some dreams come true as they had hoped, others see themselves in situations in which they never imagined themselves. Cristina and George Petrișor became parents earlier than they should have, after their baby boy was born at just 26 weeks old.
Dav is a small and frail soufflé who, following his extremely premature birth, suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest followed by a hypoxia that has left its mark on his brain to this day! Shortly after, he also had an intraventricular hemorrhage due to the brain that was not very well developed. Unfortunately, it was chosen with some cruel diagnoses - spastic tetraparesis, epileptic seizures and pontocerebellar hypoplasia (the cerebellum is not fully developed)," says the child's mother.
At just 5 months of life, David began various recovery therapies (physical therapy, Vojta, hydrotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, hypnotherapy) and made progress, despite the reserved prognosis of the doctors. Now, at almost 7 years old, the little boy stands up sustained, can take a few steps, says a few words, and in order to continue his development he needs to continue his recovery. A private clinic in Vienna can help him even more with a stem cell transplant.
The medical team there gave us a favorable response. Now for us it becomes financially impossible, considering that only the father works (he is a driver), I having to stay permanently with Dav on child-rearing leave, explains Cristina Petrișor.
David's family earns 3,000 lei plus the child's allowance and the mother's attendant allowance. From aceshti money would have no way to cover the € 12,000 necessary for medical intervention plus the other added costs with travel, accommodation and post-operative treatment.
We kindly ask you to be with our hero because he can, practice and progress! But money is the biggest impediment and it hurts us and the smallest part of the body knowing that we can not do more for it! As our only child, we want to know that we fought and did our best to make him independent, the child's parents say.
In order for David to have a life as close to normal as possible, the €12,000 must be raised until early September, when the transplant is scheduled. Without our help, it will be impossible for his family to give him this chance. Any donation made in the accounts of the "Save a Heart" Association brings the 7-year-old boy closer to health.
