When I started the campaign for Mihail, I was afraid in my heart.
The fear that the time is too short, and the amount – much too high.
But God does not leave us alone in the battle.
He works through people.

This is how 515 hearts appeared, one by one, saying "Yes, I want to help".
Simple people, but with huge souls, who donated according to their strength and offered Michael more than money:
They gave him hope.

Mihail, at only 17 years old, carries too heavy a burden:
Accentuated cerebellar atrophy, muscle hypotrophy, severe neurological dysfunctions.
But now, thanks to you, he has a real chance.
A long road awaits him to Thailand, to the Verita Neuro clinic – but he doesn't go alone anymore.

A week of hope. A week of love. A life waiting to be saved.

Just a week ago, we dared to ask you for something precious: not just a donation, but a piece of your heart, a drop of light for Mihail – a boy of only 17 years old, the only son of the Constantin family, who is struggling with a painful cross: accentuated cerebellar atrophy, muscle hypotrophy, neurological dysfunctions and lack of balance and verbal language.

I believed in your goodness, and you responded. With the soul. With love. With confidence.

428 people united their hearts, giving as much as they could, and together we managed to raise 17,160 euros of the 20,000 euros needed for life-saving treatment at the Verita Neuro clinic in Thailand.

We have a little more. Very little.
Only 2,840 euros separate us from the real chance that Mihail will regain his steps, his words and his smile.

Together for Mihail – a new chance at treatment

Mihail is a 17-year-old teenager, diagnosed with multiple severe neurological and metabolic dysfunctions: accentuated cerebellar atrophy, muscle hypotrophy, hypothalamus dysfunctions, lack of balance, digestive disorders, lack of verbal language and the inability to manage daily life on his own.

Until 2014, his life was a continuous battle with the disease. He didn't feel hungry or thirsty, he had convulsions at every feverish episode, he didn't walk, he didn't sleep for more than two or three hours tied up, and communication with him was possible only through gestures. He frequently had digestive and respiratory infections, and the fragility of his body left painful marks after each intravenous treatment.

With the support of hearty people, Mihail arrived at the Verita Neuro clinic in Thailand in 2014 and 2018 for stem cell implant protocols. The results were amazing. In just a few months, Mihail began to gain weight, become more active, have a stable sleep schedule, ask for water and food, go around the house independently and enjoy simple but essential things. Communication, although non-verbal, improved considerably, and therapists noticed an unexpected emotional openness.

Unfortunately, for about a year, Mihail has been experiencing spontaneous seizures again, and neurologists have recommended the repetition of stem cell treatment as soon as possible, in an improved therapeutic formula, which also includes additional cell regeneration factors.

The costs of this intervention are beyond the family's means, and time is of the essence. That is why Michael's father makes a sincere and profound appeal:

"I'm a father. And perhaps the hardest thing for a father is to see his child suffering, without being able to do more.
Michael never said "Father," but his every look spoke to me more clearly than a thousand words.
I held him in my arms when he had convulsions, when he cried for nights in a row, when he did not want to eat, or when he trembled with fear at the sight of a cannula. I felt helplessness, despair, but I never gave up.
In 2014, when I went with him for the first time to Thailand, I had only one hope: to offer him a life closer to normal.
After the treatments, it was as if she was born again. He began to laugh, to rejoice, to get out of bed alone. I felt that everything had a purpose.
Today, the crises have returned. We are once again faced with a difficult but necessary choice. The recommended treatment can restore balance and the chance for a dignified life. As a father, I will go all the way for him. But I can't do that alone. Therefore, I ask you from the bottom of my heart: help me to help my child. I'm not asking for myself. I ask for a chance for him – so that the progress so far is not lost. So that Michael could live.
