I know I haven't posted about Rebekah's condition in a long time, but I'm coming today with good news! Rebekah had her last check in Bucharest in January ,we did an eeg that showed that everything is fine and her brain no longer records seizures (she has not had any more seizures) now we wait to repeat the eeg at the next check in May. Rebekah is a child changed much for the better because God has listened to all our prayers, thank you to Mr. Vlad Placinta because he was with us, the doctors of Bucharest at Monza hospital who made all the necessary efforts to be a successful operation and Rebekah to be the child that is today , to all of you who have been with us we hope that God will reward you tenfold. Rebekah has advanced much for the better in the sense that she understands everything she is told but still speaks very little properly , goes to kindergarten and plays with other children, watches TV, plays with toys ... there are things she didn't do before, she gained 2 kg in weight and we changed 2 sizes to clothes since the surgery in December ,she's very cheerful (before she cried a lot because of the excruciating pains she had in her head), energetic and very attached to us. I helped whenever I could anyone but I never thought that I would ever be the one to ask for help ,it was an experience that changed us enormously and everything is fine when it ends well . We owe it to Christian, even if we don't have the material opportunity, to help. We can do it with a good thought, a prayer or an encouragement, a distribution. Let us bear each other's helplessness and convey love to the one in great pain! We kiss you and wish you the Easter holidays to find you happy, healthy and with a lot of peace of mind!

We were discharged today! I know you've been waiting to hear more from us but after the surgery all my attention was only to my princess ,recovery was ok, there were less pleasant and painful episodes that Reby faced ,he also had a long epileptic seizure, refused to eat the first days,he had vomiting ,the dizziness and doctors have assured us all this time that her condition after the operation is a normal one and everything is under control. Patiently everything quickly returned to normal. We'll come to the check-up, and we'll have to do a new EEC today but we're hoping everything's going to be okay. Of course Rebekah has to go to therapy every day and we continue with the epilepsy medication for at least 1 year. We are very happy that the operation was a success !🤗🤗🤗🤗
Through this experience God has given me the chance to learn to thank Him more and more for what He has given me in life :I have a beautiful family and two wonderful children. Now we have realized that health is a gift from God and we must cherish and take care of 🙏🙏🙏 it.
🟢Rebekah is good because of our God and you who have not stood carelessly. You managed to raise the sum of 8000 euros that Rebekah needed for surgery in record time ...
❤I have no words enough to thank you to all those who have been so involved and to those who have at least a prayer upfor it, you have helped with a share, an Encouragement or a donation you have managed to make this possible.
❤❤We will never forget the help from Mrs. German Anamaria who became so involved in our case, was an angel in our lives just when we needed it most, AlinaNeagu and Mr. Vlad Placinta who immediately accepted our case. Once again thank you for existing!!
Yes, it's true that in this attempt, we saw who was really on Rebekah's side.
I was also deeply disappointed because some of the so-called friends, for whom I would have done anything -- and whom I trusted, didn't even take the time for an encouragement, a phone call or a simple text message.
When you go through hard and trouble
then you get to know everyone you have close by.
God in return has always been there for us and has heard all our prayers and rewarded us with a miracle now for the holidays.
It was a tough fight, but we got through it! We kiss you and thank you all!💋💋💋

🛑Dear people ,Rebekah is out of surgery and we were waiting for the anesthesia to pass to see how she was doing. 🙏🙏🙏 The doctor told us that the operation was successful and we expect the best results. We stay in resuscitation until tomorrow when we're moved into the salon.
She is a fighter and your prayers and beautiful thoughts have reached her. ❤️❤️❤️I'm sorry I can't answer your messages and I'm not online but all my attention is directed to my little girl.
I thank the doctors who did absolutely the best for Rebekah to help her overcome these moments and not least to you people with such a good heart that you stayed with us and prayed with us for Rebekah.
Is this Rebekah's long-awaited Christmas present?

Campaign started on: 23.11.2020

Diagnosis: Severe epilepsy and autism
Clinic where he will perform the operation and treatment: Monza Hospital in Bucharest
Rebeka's Story
Between a normal childhood and one lived in repeated crises and in the bitterness of the parents sometimes stands an operation. It seems simple to many of us, but that's because we may have the resources to pay for that intervention, or maybe we have relatives, friends, acquaintances who can help us financially.
For the Manda family, things aren't that simple. Their baby girl, Rebekah Manda, was diagnosed a year ago with epilepsy. This three-year-old angel has undergone treatment that is no longer working, and seizures are becoming more and more often.
It appears that the disease has rapidly worsened and, moreover, a recent MRI shows that the left side of the little girl's brain has not developed according to her age.
Despite all these problems, there is hope for Rebekah.
An operation performed at Monza Hospital in Bucharest can completely stop her epileptic seizures and she will also be able to speak like a normal 3-year-old. At the moment, Rebekah says only 10-12 words, without forming sentences, explained the child's mother, Luciana Manda.
The life-saving surgery costs 8,000 euros. The amount may seem small, especially when other children, with the same or perhaps even more severe conditions, need tens of thousands of euros to have a chance at life. But 8,000 euros is a huge amount for a family where the mother is a personal assistant to her daughter, she has to take care of the 6-year-old boy, and the father is a driver and has just been made redundant, in the increasingly difficult context we are in because of the pandemic.
That's why these people have asked us to lend them a hand, because alone they can't help their little girl get back to normal, talk, grow up healthy and have a normal life. Together, we can give this chance to Rebekah, through any donation made in the accounts of the Save a Heart Association.
8,000 euros is too small a soldier not to be able to overcome it together for this innocent little girl!
