Her large family – 8 children, a father who worked hard to support them and a mother with health problems – did not have the resources to help her. The treatment remained just a dream, and the years passed.

Today, Dana's scoliosis is at an advanced stage, and the doctors in Romania told her that there was nothing more they could do for her. Her spine is so curved that they gave her a cruel verdict: "You will never be able to carry a pregnancy." Their words were devastating for Dana, who dreams of the day when she will hold her baby in her arms.

Dana's only chance is a complex operation in a clinic in Turkey. Its cost is 28,000 euros, an amount impossible to achieve for her and her husband, who live on a minimum wage. Dana tried to work to contribute to the expenses. She got a job at a pizzeria, but the unbearable pain made her give up. Now, the only hope comes from the generosity of people with a big heart.

My father worked alone for us, 8 brothers, and my mother had health problems and took care of us. The years passed, and my condition worsened. When I asked them if I would be able to become a mother, their answer was overwhelming: "You will never be able to hold a pregnancy."

I want more than anything to be a mother. To be able to hold my child in my arms, to raise him without pain. My only chance is in Turkey, but the cost of the surgery is far more than we could ever collect. I tried to work, to help raise money. I got a job at a pizzeria, but the unbearable pain made me give up. Now, only my husband works, on the minimum wage. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to help me. Any donation, any good thought, any prayer is one step closer to my dream. I want to live without pain and have the chance to be a mother. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
