On a journey of life, where hope and faith were our only allies, we received a diagnosis that stopped our hearts for a moment: grade 4 atypical rhabdoid/teratoid embryonic tumor. A difficult name, a road that seemed unpredictable and difficult. We asked ourselves: how do we move forward? With small stride and great faith, we chose to fight.
We were directed to Medical Park Hospital in Turkey, a place where hope comes to life and where every patient is seen as a fighter. With my heart full of hope and prayers at every moment, I began treatment there.
But life always has its challenges. It's time for the routine checkup, the MRI. In an unexpected twist of fate, a visa problem prevented us from traveling to Turkey. But, as the saying goes, when one door closes, another door opens. We did the investigations at Queen Mary, a place that welcomed us with open arms.
Days of waiting can be the hardest, with every minute counting like an eternity. But when the good news came, everything lit up. All is well! I also sent the MRI to Turkey, and the response, as here, was positive.

In recent months we have been through the nightmare of our lives, months in which fear and powerlessness had taken hold of us. I lived a bad dream whose end I did not see, I was just dreaming of the day when everything would end well.
You all know our story, of our pup who at just one year old went through the hardest moments, surgeries, terrible treatments, but that did not prevent him from fighting. We don't know where so much power in such a small body came from, he fought with a smile on his face and that's what made him get here... VICTORY!!! Yes, you got it right, CAESAR DEFEATED!
Thank God he opened the way for us to the best doctors who could ever exist, doctors who made the impossible possible, our angels at the Bahçelievler Park Medical Hospital in Istanbul.

For 3 weeks we have been hospitalized, more precisely from November 3. Caesar received a very strong dose of chemotherapy that lasted 3 days. It was very strong to decrease the values of all the analyzes in error, and after 3 days from the end of the chemotherapy, the cell transplant took place, which went very well! Caesar recovers easily-easily and we will still remain in the hospital for all tests to return to normal.
It is a harder time because all these procedures have also had less pleasant consequences, but with God's help we will get over it as well. Caesar is a strong child and will surely succeed!

Caesar's story
Little Caesar Stan looks like a 10th grade child. His parents, Nicoleta and Mihai, between whom there is a difference of 10 years, wanted him very much and were the happiest and most fulfilled when he was born. It's just that their little boy began to fight a very hard fight, as early as the age of only 10 months.
In this family, the number 10 was not at all auspicious! On May 10, Caesar made a "febrile jerking" and from there began a long line of roads to various hospitals.
We arrived with him at the Emergency Room, at Slatina County Hospital, where they told us that he had pneumonia and respiratory failure. After thorough investigations they found that he had only "red in his throat", without any further tests being done, although it was normal for him to be examined in Neurology because of convulsions. After a few days we went home, and not a week later the child began to have a fever again and again we arrived at the Emergency Room. This time, the diagnosis was of enterocolitis, says Nicoleta Stan, Caesar's mother.
During the second hospitalization, the little boy had new seizures that did not alarm the doctors, who considered that this way he was recovering from the jerking, the woman explains.
We were discharged, and for our peace of mind we asked for the opinion of two neurologists who, in turn, said that Caesar was a "perfectly normal" child..
The crises resumed and became more frequent and intense. Other doctors that the parents turned to blamed them on the dental eruption. Nicoleta and Mihai felt that it could not be just that and they took Caesar to the "Alexandru Obregia" Hospital in the Capital, where he did CT, MRI and EEG. The analyzes showed two tumors on the boy's brain.
The child was transferred to the Marie Curie Hospital to be operated on immediately. One of the formations was almost completely extirpated, the other could not be removed due to very high risks.
Panic took hold of us even more. The result of the biopsy was "atypical embryonic rabdoid/teratoid tumor grade 4". We are desperate, we cannot accept that!, Caesar's parents told us.
Driven by the desire to rid their son from the clutches of cancer, the two 27- and 37-year-olds submitted the medical file to Turkish specialists at Istanbul Medical Park Hospital, but the cost of the treatment exceeds 175,000 euros. Caesar's family managed to raise only €40,000, which means it takes 135,000 euros for this baby to have an extra chance at life.
Please help us save our chicken. Our cub is so small, we crave to give him the right to a normal and beautiful life, the boy's mother wrote to us.
Nicoleta and her husband worked in the UK as forklifts until the little one's baptism, when they returned to the country. They alone have no way to raise such a large amount, and the despair in their soul is understandable only if you are a parent and you know how dear your child is and how much you would do for him if you could and if you had the necessary resources.
