With deep gratitude and hope, we are pleased to inform you that Marian Teodorescu, a beneficiary of our campaigns, has been successfully operated. The next period will be dedicated to recovery, and afterwards, Marian will start chemotherapy sessions.

Today, Marian's family brought us wonderful news. With the generosity and solidarity of those who stood by him, the necessary amount for medical intervention was collected. As a sign of gratitude and community spirit, the Teodorescu family asked us to redirect the amount collected by Save a Heart Association, worth 1138 euros, to another urgent case worthy of support.

Alexandru Dogaru, a young man of only 17 years, is battling a serious form of acute myeloblastic leukemia. Alexandru is now our new priority and any help from the community can make a difference in his fight for life.

We are happy to see how solidarity and empathy transform people's lives and we are proud to be part of this community that joins forces to bring hope where it is most needed.

Less than 48 hours ago, we were walking together on a new path, a road of hope and solidarity, opened to help Marian Teodorescu, a young man in full bloom of life, who is now struggling with a cruel diagnosis of cancer. A young man facing an extremely urgent surgery, which could take place on Wednesday, if we manage to raise the necessary funds, 21,000 euros.

Our message reached over 4200 people, a large handful of souls who chose to share this cause further. We bow to the 25 people who helped and donated, gathering together the amount of 854 euros. It's a start, but the road to achieving our goal is still long.

The harsh reality we face is that in these crucial moments, Marian needs more than likes and shares. We understand that emotion tries us all and that it is difficult to witness the suffering of our fellow human beings. But now more than ever, it's time to show that we're not just spectators in this story, we can be heroes who save lives.

We implore you, from the bottom of our souls, not to let indifference dominate us. Even the 2 euros that we sometimes consider insignificant can represent for Marian the difference between life and death.

Within each of us lies the strength to do good, to extend a helping hand, to offer hope. Let's not be "too few who help", but let's form a sea of people united in love and compassion, who give the chance to life and healing.

Marian's story: A fighter in the face of his greatest adversary 

Marian, a young man of 34 years, knew the value of work and sacrifice from a young age. At the age of 18, immediately after finishing high school, Marian got a job in the field of construction, working hard both in Romania and abroad, in Germany and Sweden. He managed, from his hard work, to raise the foundation of a home, reaching the stage where he laid the roof of the house.

But last winter, Marian's dream of building a secure future was abruptly cut short, with chest pains and a persistent cough. After medical investigations, he received a diagnosis that froze his soul: thymic carcinoma.

Learning of a specialized doctor at Memorial Hospital, Marian put all his hope in his hands, being scheduled for a vital operation on September 20. The surgery and subsequent treatment have a substantial cost of 21,000 euros, a sum that Marian and his family are trying to raise by appealing to the generosity and empathy of people with big hearts.

In the midst of this struggle, Marian finds the strength to share a message:
