Anya Ungureanu (2 YEARS AND 2 MONTHS) has more operations than years of life, but she smiles as beautifully as any child. Her parents have hardened in this fight for her life and are feeding on beautiful moments with her. For example, on Christmas break Anya started walking, despite the heart disease she had before she was born. Unfortunately, the situation is likely to get worse.
She had not yet been born into the world and was diagnosed from her mother's uterus with a serious heart defect - pulmonary atresia - the valve that takes blood from the heart to her lungs was not normally developed and opened. In addition, the right ventricle was hyperhypertrophied (the wall of the right ventricle was thickened). Since then, she has undergone five different surgeries and recently her parents have found a solution to the world's best clinic forcongenital rdidiology, Boston Children's Hospital (USA). It would be possible to correct the right ventricle, which would put an end to the biggest problem. And this intervention should be done as soon as possible, otherwise Anya's health would get worse and the little girl would suffer from heart failure and her heart would stop beating.

According to the doctors' recommendation, the little girl was born in Germany so she could have the surgery as soon as possible. When she was one week old in June 2017, Anya underwent a first procedure in which a balloon was inserted into the pulmonary artery to widen the valve area. Before she turned one month old, she underwent her first heart surgery - in which blood flow was directed to her lungs. At that point, the problems were not over, but they multiplied. The little girl suffered from a serious gastrointestinal disease and doctors decided to transfer her to another clinic in Germany, where two other surgeries gave back their normal functions. In March 2018, Anya returned to Germany, relying on form E112, for the following heart operation: double with two pulmonary caves - - glenn, which connects the upper vena cava to the right pulmonary artery. but unfortunately this was a temporary treatment to improve blood flow to the lungs.

Parents' hearts can't wait any longer. So her parents wrote the world's best congenital cardiology clinic, Boston Children's Hospital (USA). Their response was that they can completely correct the right ventricle, a surgical option for congenital cardiac abnormalities characterized by right ventricular hypoplasia and/or dysplasia. Which, for Anya, would be the end of the biggest problem! But the price for normal life is $146,900. These costs strictly cover investigations before actual surgery and operations, but parents do not own this amount.
Now Anya is in Romania and trying to live a normal life, she is in a good mood and playing with her brother. At every moment, parents hope that she will soon begin a normal life without the threat that her heart will stop beating. Any donation will be an enormous help to their hope and to save the little girl.
