The municipal councilors voted today for Vlad Placinta, president of the "Save a heart" Association to receive the title of Honorary Citizen of Botosani Municipality. 19 councillors voted "for", while USR councillors Marcel Gheorghiţă and Raluca Ştefania Curelariu, but also Marius Buliga, from PSD, abstained from voting. The project was initiated by Mayor Cosmin Andrei, in appreciation for the humanitarian activity carried out by Vlad Placintă since 2012. The association managed to collect 12 million euros from donations and help over 500 children and people with serious health problems.
